Our Story Started With a Happy Girl Who Felt Free
I was one of those girls who loved being outside, running wild, and chasing adventures. While other girls sat at recess talking about makeup and how pretty their hair could be, I was climbing trees, racing bikes, and finding joy in scraped knees and big ideas.
I never really fit into the “girlie” mold — and while I found pride in being different, it wasn’t always easy. It was hard to find other girls like me. Hard to find role models. Hard to feel like I fully belonged when everything around me said girlhood should look a certain way.
At the same time, I wanted to be unapologetically me. I just didn’t want to have to choose between being strong and being accepted.
From Recess Rebel to CMO
That spark — that wild, curious energy — never left me. It followed me through life, into my career, into boardrooms, brands, and bold ideas. I built a name for myself in marketing, led teams, launched companies, and shaped stories.
But even in the corporate world, that nature-loving, rule-bending girl was still there — guiding me, grounding me.
Then Came Nikki
And then I became a mom. And everything shifted again.
Nikki is our daughter — brave, brilliant, funny, and full of life. From the start, I saw pieces of myself in her. The way she chose action over appearance. The way she questioned the script. The way she made her own path without asking permission.
And then came *that* moment. A kid’s spa birthday party. Surrounded by soft pinks and princess vibes, Nikki turned to me and said, “I don’t want makeup. I’m already cool.”
I swear the world stood still. That single sentence brought everything rushing back — the girl I had been, the woman I became, and the strength it took to grow without a map. I felt pride. But more than that, I felt possibility.
We’re an Outdoor Family With an Unshakable Bond
That mindset I grew up with — bold, adventurous, real — shaped not just me, but the family we built together. I was lucky enough to marry the man who is the love of my life and my best friend. We didn’t need to compete for strength — we just stood strong side by side.
That same energy brought our daughter and my husband closer too. These days, you’ll find us together rolling jiu-jitsu for fun, paddling into waves, or hiking up mountains. We’re a family that plays hard, dreams big, and shows up for each other in the best kind of way.
Nikki and I dream loudly. We wear tennis shoes more than heels. We talk about skiing and science, build forts, laugh hard, and grow together. And one day, we turned our story into something more.
We created NOGG — not just as a brand, but as a way to share our freedom, our love, and our boldness with other girls who’ve felt what we’ve felt.
Meet the Girls Behind NOGG
NOGG is me. It’s Nikki. It’s every girl who never felt like she fit the mold — and every mom raising a girl who’s not afraid to break it.
It’s for the ones who climb instead of sit still. Who question instead of comply. Who don’t want to be boxed in by outdated ideas of what girls should be.
We’re not here to fight girlhood. We’re here to redefine it. On our terms. With our stories. As ourselves.
